Mrs. Anthony Ksionsk

Mrs. Anthony Ksionsk, age 69, of the town of New Hope, died Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Wroblewski, 312 North Avenue. She had been ill and confined to bed for 10 weeks. She was moved to her daughter's home five weeks ago.

Mrs. Ksionsk, whose maiden name was Antoinette Disher, was born in Poland on August 1, 1872. She came to this country in 1882 with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Disher, who lived in Chicago for a time. They later came to Portage county and located on a farm in the town of New Hope. Mr. and Mrs. Ksionsk would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in January. They had lived at the present home all of their married life.

Mrs. Ksionsk was a member of the Rosary society and the Third Order of St. Francis at Sacred Heart Catholic church, at Polonia.

Surviving are her husband, nine children, Mrs. Barney Kiedrowski, Mrs Joe Losieveck and James and Michael Ksionsk of Loraine, Ohio, Frank Ksionsk, Mrs. Wroblewski and Mrs. Anna Sterlavage of Stevens Point, Mrs. Alois Herek, of Sheridan and Andrew at home; two brothers, Jacob and John Disher of Fancher; two sisters, Mrs Clementine Zblewski of Stevens Point and Mrs. John Zinger of Fancher; 34 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 9 o'clock at Sacred heart church and burial will follow in the parish cemetery. The body is at the Prais funeral home where the rosary will be said tonight at 8 o'clock. It will be taken Tuesday afternoon to the family home where the rosary will said Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 8 o'clock.

Funeral of Mrs. Ksionsk

Funeral services for Mrs. Anthony Ksionsk of the town of New Hope, who died Sunday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Wroblewski, 312 North avenue, were held Thursday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic church at Polonia. Rev. Leo Janikowski officiated and burial followed in the parish cemetery.

The pallbearers were Alex Hintz, Peter Hintz, Edward Hintz, Barney Koziczkowski, Frank Glodowski and Joseph Wroblewski.

Those from a distance who came for the funeral included Mrs. Barney Kedrowski and daughter, Mrs. Joseph Falkoski and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. James Ksionsk and children, Ronald and Camilla, Michael Ksionsk, Mrs. Joseph Wroblewski and Mrs. Florence Wroblewski of Lorain, Ohio, and Private John Sterlavage of Camp Livingston, Louisiana.

Obituary

Anton Kszonsk

Anton Kszonsk, 81, died Saturday morning at 11:30 o'clock at the home of his son, Frank, at 1205 Church street. He had been ailing for several years.

Mr. Kszonsk was born in Poland on Jan. 17, 1869, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kszonsk who came to this country in 1880. After staying for six months in Chicago, the family settled on a farm in the town of New Hope. Anton Kszonsk was married in January 1892, to Antonina Disher of Hew Hope at St. Mary's Catholic church at Fancher and the couple took up farming in New Hope. Mrs. Kszonsk died in 1941 and Mr. Kszonsk retired a year later, coming to live with his son on Church Street. He was a member of St. Isadore's society at Polonia and also a member of the Third Order of St. Francis.

He is survived by nine children, Frank, of this city, Mrs. John Wroblewski of Milwaukee, Mrs. Alois Herek of the town of Stockton, and Michael, James, Mrs. Barney Kedrowski, Mrs. Ann Strzelewicz and Mrs. Joseph Loslewicz of Lorain, Ohio. Four children, two sisters and one brother preceded him in death.

The body is at the Prais funeral home were rosaries will be said tonight and Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 8 o'clock. The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic church in Polonia and burial will be in the spring.

Anton Kszonsk Funeral

Service were held Thursday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic church, Fancher, for Anton Kszonsk, 1205 Church Street, who died Saturday.

Pallbearers who were grandsons of Mr. Kszonsk were Edmund, Ernest, Anthony and Frank Jr. and John Kszonsk and Daniel Wroblewski.

Relatives and friends who came from away were Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Kiedrowski, Jack Kszonsk, Michael Kszonsk, Mrs. Ann Sterlavage and son John, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Losiswicz of Lorain, Ohio, and Mr. and Mrs. John Wroblewski, Mrs. Henry Maslowski, Mrs. Ernest Jeske, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Werner, Andrew Kszonsk, and Mrs. Bernard Reskoske of Milwaukee.

Burial will take place in the spring in Sacred Heart cemetery, in Polonia.
