Obituary

Stanley A. Disher

Stanley A. Disher, died this morning at the River Pines Living Center in Whiting, Wi. A native of the area, he had recently returned.

Services will be held at 10:30 AM at the Dzikoski/Pisarski Funeral Home. The Rev. Don Przybylski will officiate. Entombment will be at St. Mary Cemetery Mausoleum in Winona, MN.

Friends may call on Thursday from 8:30 AM until the time of services at the funeral home.

Mr Disher was born May 8,1911, in Fancher, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Disher. He attended local schools. He was married to Margaret M. Schomel on Aug. 29, 1940, at St John's Catholic Church in Winona.

He was a retired railroad telegrapher for the Green Bay & Western Railroad in Winona. He had also worked as a station agent in Independence, Wi.

Previously, Mr Disher worked with the Southern Pacific Railroad in Southern California and for the Milwaukee Railroad in Minnesota.

Survivors include one son, Dale (Judy), 5345 Woodland Circle; one daughter, Daun Disher, Menomonee Falls, WI; one granddaughter; and two sisters, Sister Mary Disher, SSJ, 1300 Maria Drive, and Mrs. Regina Timmerman, Milwaukee.

He was preceded in death by four brothers.
