Given Jail Sentence On Plea of Guilty
Following his discharge from St. Michael's hospital on Wednesday, Jacob Disher of Plover appeared in municipal court and pleaded guilty to a charge of being intoxicated on the street. He was given eight days in county jail in lieu of paying a fine of $5 and $1.20 costs. Disher has recovered from injuries suffered last Saturday night when his Ford coupe, driven by his brother, Ted, crashed into a Buick sedan parked in the 500 block on Strongs avenue. Disher was charged with being intoxicated at the time of the accident. The driver of the car is serving 10 days in county jail on a drunken driving charge.
