Obituary
Mrs. Frances Wasieleski
Mrs. Frances Wasieleski, 76, formerly of 1300 Briggs St., died Tuesday afternoon at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. She was a patient there three weeks and was ill for three months.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. at St. Bronislava's Catholic Church, Plover, with the Rev. William Moeschler officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at Dzikoski Funeral Home. The Knights of Columbus, of which her sons Leonard and Ernest are members, will pray a rosary at 7 p.m. A Bible vigil will be held at 7:30 p.m.
Mrs. Wasieleski was born Sept 14, 1907, in Wisconsin Rapids, a daughter of Florian and Mathilda Disher. She attended school in the town of Grant.
She was married to Nick Wasieleski Oct. 14, 1924, at St. Bronislava's Church, Plover. He died July 22, 1973. The couple lived in Milwaukee for a few years, then moved to Hatley. They began farming in the town of Grant in 1941. Mrs. Wasieleski moved to Stevens Point in 1974.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Matilda (Disher) Fredach, Portage County Home; three daughters, Mrs. Alvin (Gladys) Glodowski, Greenfield, Mrs. Leona Grassell, Phillips, and Mrs. David (Dottie) Mozuch, Plover; five sons Leonard, 3257 Martha's Lane, Wallace, Plover, Nick, Stevens Point, Ervin, Riverview, Fla., and Ernest, 501 Bliss Ave.; 24 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Schlickting, Largo Fla., and Katherine Wiater, 1732 Madison St.; and one brother, John Disher, Riverview, Fla. She was preceded in death by her father, two sisters, four brothers and one grandson.

Obituary
Nick Wasieleski
Nick Wasieleski, 84, Route 1, Plover (Town of Grant), died at 7:40 p.m. Sunday, shortly after being admitted to St. Michael's Hospital. He had been hospitalized on several other occasions during the past one and a half years.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bronislava's Catholic Church, Plover, with Rev. Francis Przybylski officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Dzikoski Funeral Home, where a general rosary will be said at 8 p.m.
Mr. Wasieleski was born Nov. 28, 1888, in Poland, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wasieleski. He came to the United States alone at the age of 21, living first in Chicago and then later in Milwaukee.
He married Francis Disher on Oct. 14, 1924, at St. Bronislava's. The couple resided in Milwaukee and Hatley, until settling and farming at their present home address in 1941.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, Leonard Wasieleski,1001 2nd St., Wallace, at home, Ervin, Wisconsin Rapids, Ernest, 5001 Bliss Ave. and Nick, Tourn Road in the Town of Hull; three daughters, Mrs Alvin (Gladys) Glodowski, Milwaukee, Mrs Link (Leona) Grassel, Phillips, and Mrs. Dorothy Minta, Plover; two brothers, John Wasieleski, Milwaukee and Anton, Poland; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Buchowski, Milwaukee, Mrs. Gladys Glapinski, Wausau, and Sophie, Poland; 23 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Wasieleski was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.
