Gertrude Agnes Schlichting

Gertrude Agnes Schlichting, Plover, died Thursday in Milwaukee.

Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Zwaska Funeral Home, Milwaukee. Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Guardian Angel Cemetery.

Survivors include her mother, Mathilda Fredock, Stevens Point; four sons, Edmund (Lorraine) Lubetski, Downey, Calif., Daniel (Carmella) Lubecke, Whittier, Calif., Charles (Virginia) Lubecke, Wewahitchka, Fla., and Leonard (Henrietta) Lubecke, Random lake; three daughters, Evelyn (Roy) Parmenter, Carson City, Nev., Eleanor (Norman) Bendtschneider, Spring Hill, Fla., and Delores (Casimer) Trelka, Brown deer; one brother, John (Lillian) Disher, Riverview, Fla.; one sister, Katherine Waiter, Stevens Point; grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Obituary

Charles W. Lubetski

Charles W. Lubetski, age 63, of 521 Prairie street, a retired Amherst Junction carpenter, died this morning at 5:15 o'clock at St. Michael's hospital. He had been ill for 10 years and entered the hospital six weeks ago.

Mr. Lubetski was born on March 11, 1882, in Poland, a son of the late Stephen and Josephine Lubetski. A year later the family came to this country and located on a farm in the town of Stockton. He resided at home until his marriage to Miss Gertrude Disher of the town of Plover, which took place on Jan. 30, 1917, at St. Bronislava's Catholic Church in Plover. After their marriage the couple settled at Amherst Junction village where Mr. Lubetski was a carpenter until illness forced his retirement. They came to Stevens Point in September, 1944.

Surviving are his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Roy Parmentier, Mrs. Walter Zarecki and Mrs. Casmir Trelka, of Milwaukee, four sons, Edmund of the town of Plover, Pvt. Donald of Shepard Field, Tex. and Charles and Leonard at home, two sisters, Mrs. John Lorbeck, 718 Portage street, and Mrs. John Kostuchoski of Milwaukee, two brothers, Louis Lubecki, Prais street, and John Lubecki of the town of Stockton, and eight grandchildren. Three sisters and two brothers, besides his parents preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Burial will take place later in Guardian Angel cemetery. The body is at the Crosby funeral where it may be viewed after Wednesday noon. The rosary will be said Thursday evening at 8 o'clock

Funeral of Mr. Lubetski

Funeral services for Charles W. Lubetski, 621 Prairie street, who died Tuesday morning, were held Friday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Stanislaus Catholic church. Rev. Leo Trojanowski officiated. Burial will take place later in Guardian Angel cemetery.

The pallbearers were John, Louis, Ben, and Theodore Disher, Louis Lubecki, Jr., and Leonard Wasieleski.

Obituary

Erving H. Schlichting

Erving H. Schlichting, 81, 222 Elm St., Whiting, died Thursday at Brandon Community Hospital, Brandon, Fla. He was vacationing there and apparently suffered a heart attack.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in Mellen. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Mellen. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Suda Funeral Chapel. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Friends may also call after 4 p.m. Sunday at Bruns-Novitzke Funeral Home, Mellen.

Mr. Schlichting was born Nov. 22, 1900, in Manawa, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Schlichting. He moved to Mellen as a child with his parents, He was married to Grace Lawyer Aug. 24, 1920, in Mellen. She died in 1951. He was married to Gertrude Lubecke June 27, 1953, in Mellen. She survives. He was employed by the Penhoe Veneer Co., Mellen, until 1956. He moved to wild rose in 1956 and worked for Parker Resort. Upon retiring in 1965, the couple moved to Whiting.
