He married PAULINE FLISAKOWSKI May 4, 1904 in St. Bartholomew's Catholic Church, Mill Creek, Portage County, daughter of WILLIAM FLISAKOWSKI and JULIANA KOSTUCHOWSKI. She was born July 1, 1883 in Poland, and died October 9, 1968 in St. Michael's Hospital, Stevens Point, Portage County, WI.

DISHER IN DENIAL OF NETTING CHARGE
Jacob Disher is to have a hearing June 12, before Justice L. J. N. Murat on a charge of having netted fish in Bear lake, town of Stockton, June 2. He was arraigned and pleaded not guilty. Disher was alleged to have been with Alex Kedrowski, who has also entered a not guilty plea and will have his hearing the same day.

Jack (Jacob) Disher, who pleaded guilty to a charge of having netted fish in Bear lake, town of Stockton, was fined $200 and the costs, and if he is in default of payment he must serve four months in the county jail. Half the fine was remitted which with the costs made the total charged him $149.94

Obituary
Jacob Disher
Jacob Disher, 77, died at 7 p.m. Friday at his home at 407 N. 3rd St. He had
been in ill health for 12 years, suffering from a heart condition.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Peter's Catholic Church. Burial
will follow in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dzikoski Funeral Home from Monday afternoon until the
services.
Rosaries will be recited there as follows: Monday, 7:30p.m.--Holy Name Society
of St. Peter's. He was a member. Tuesday, 7:p.m.--Knights of Columbus. A son,
Raymond, is a member. Tuesday, 7:30 p.m.--General Rosary.
He was born in Poland Sept 16, 1880, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Disher
Sr. the family came to this country when he was one year old. They settled on a
farm in the town of Stockton.
He married Pauline Flisakowski May 4, 1904, in St. Bartholomew's Church, Mill
Creek. The couple farmed afterward in the Town if Grant until retiring in 1945.
They had since lived in Stevens Point.
Surviving are his wife; five sons, Peter, Stockton, John, 245 Bukolt Ave;
Raymond, 513 Smith St., the Rev. F. S. Disher, pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in
Cashton, Wis. and Stanley, Winona, Minn.
there are also two daughters, Sister M. Domitille, a teacher at St. Paul's
School in Milwaukee, and Mrs. Larry (Regina) Timmerman, Milwaukee; 19
grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and two sisters, Mrs John Singer, Plover and
Mrs. Clementine Zblewski, 121 Portage St.
Four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Jacob Disher Services
The Rev. F. S. Disher of Cashton, Wis., served as celebrant of the solemn requiem high mass Wednesday morning in St. Peter's Catholic Church for his father, Jacob Disher of 407 N. 3rd St.
Mr. Disher died at his home last Friday.
The Rev. A. Trzebiatowski of Oshkosh was deacon, and the Rev. Andrew Handzel of Delano, Minn., was sub-deacon.
The Rev. Richard Tomsyck was master of ceremonies.
The following priests were present in the sanctuary:
The Revs. Dennis Babilewicz, OFM, of St. Michael's Hospital; Raymond Novak, Welch, Wis.; John F. Nowak, Alban; Chester B. Moczarny of St. Joseph's Convent; Leo Trojanowski, St. Stanislaus; Dominic Eichman, Torun; Joseph A. Szupryt, Menasha; Francis Wengler, River Pines Sanitorium; Chester Zielinski, Wisconsin Rapids; Francis A. Wavra, La Crosse; George Paceale, Marshfield; and Roman Papiernik, Wonewoc.
Burial was in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Fathers Disher, Trzebiatowski, Wavra and Tomsyck were present at graveside.
The pallbearers were Jerome, Donald, Ronald, Edmund and Harry Disher and Clayton Lokken.

Mrs. Pauline Disher
Mrs Pauline Disher, 85, died Wednesday evening at 7:15 o'clock at St. Michael's
Hospital where she had been a patient since Sept 30. Although she had been in
ill health for the past two years, she was active until she entered the
hospital. Since last July she had been making her home with a son Raymond
Disher, 1501 Maria Drive.
Mrs. Disher, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Flisakowski, was born
on July 1, 1883 in Poland. At the age of three years she came to this country
with her parents who settled on a farm in the Mill Creek area.
Her marriage to Jacob Disher took place on May 4, 1904, at St. Bartholomew's
Catholic Church, Mill Creek. The couple framed in the Town of Stockton until
1946 when they retired and moved to Stevens Point. Mr. Disher died on April 4,
1958.
Surviving are five sons, Peter Disher, Town of Stockton, John, 473 Bukolt ave.,
The Rev. Frank Disher, Arcadia; Stanley, Winona, Minnesota; and Raymond, Stevens
Point; two daughters, Mrs Lawrence (Regina) Timmermann, Milwaukee, and Sister
Mary, St Joseph's Convent here; a brother, Michael Flisakowski, 4th Ave.; a
sister, Miss Isabelle Flisakowski, Arcadia; 19 grandchildren and 10
great-grandchildren. Her husband, parents and 13 brothers and sisters preceded
her in death.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock at St. Peter's
Catholic Church with burial to follow in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dzikoski Funeral Home after 2 P.M. Friday. Rosaries
Friday are scheduled as follows: 7:00 P.M. Council No. 1170, Knights of
Columbus; 7:30 P.M., Rosary Societies of St. Peter's and St. Mary's, Fancher,
and St. Hedwig's Court No 745, National Catholic Society of Foresters; 8:00 P.M.
general.

Disher Funeral
The Rev. Frank Disher, Arcadia, was the celebrant of a solemn requiem high mass
Saturday for the funeral of his mother, Mrs. Pauline Disher, 1501 Maria Drive.
Mrs. Disher, 85, died Wednesday at St. Michael's Hospital.
Assisting at the 9:30 mass at St. Peter's Catholic Church were the Rev. John
Wisneski of St. Peter's, who served as deacon; the Rev. Richard Flis,
Rothschild, sub-deacon, and the Rev. Richard Tomsyck, Tourn, master of
ceremonies.
Present in the sanctuary were the Very Rev. Msgr. James Finuean, St. Joseph's,
and the Ret. Rev. Msgr. Chester Ropella, Green Bay, and the Rev. Al
Trzebiatowski, Menasha. Other area priests attended in a group.
Burial took place in Guardian Angel Cemetery with grandsons of Mrs. Disher
serving as pallbearers. They were Raymond Disher Jr., Michael, Richard, Ronald,
Donald, and Jerome Disher.
Relatives and friends attended from Winona, Minn., Arcadia, Milwaukee, Chicago,
Poynette and the Stevens Point area.
